Designed and built by AXN Architecture D&B services. Attention to detail, customer focus and built with passion. This conservation and renovation project was the second for our clients at Stuckgowan Estate in Loch lomond and was featured in Scotland on Sunday. Being B Listed in the National Park by a Site of Special Scientific Interest meant honouring the quality of the location and habitat was of paramount importance.
An ancient culvert running underneath the site, the lack of any services and the client’s plan to be energy and water self sufficient gave us a serious technical challenge.
Having acquired, planning consent, listed building consent and building warrant, we built glazed extensions, renovated the existing structure and created a luxury 7 bed retreat by Ben Lomond. This is a place for people to connect with nature and family. A hot tub, integrated sound, glazed house extensions, a gem of a coach house renovation and glazed walkways focus on gathering spaces in the courtyard and walled garden. Our client has created a truly remarkable retreat. You can even book it for your family.
